It’s ‘Wales Week’ in London and what an incredible start to the week leading up to St David's Day and the celebration of Wales.

Today I attended a reception at Embassy of Slovakian Republic in London. The message relayed centred on the importance of international cooperation and collaboration - whether in culture, trade or the many common aspirations that should bind people together.

It was interesting to hear the University of South Wales, based mainly in Mid-Glamorgan, is a popular choice amongst students from Slovakia and has been welcoming the young people of the eastern European nation for many years. With so much in common between our two nations, long may this continue. There will always be a welcome in the hillside for you.

Super hospitality.

Diolch yn fawr iawn - Dakujem velmi pekne – Thank you.
