Built between 1787 and 1793 by Thomas Mansel Talbot to house a large collection of orange, lemon and citron trees; the Orangery at Margam is a Grade I listed building and one of the finest classical buildings in Wales. Here, Mrs Melanie James JP, became High Sheriff of West Glamorgan. It was a lot easier to enjoy, as I had completed my own inauguration.
Another delightful, enjoyable event was experienced by all those who attended. Once again, it was great to see so many familiar, friendly faces and meet many more new ones.
