Former dual code international Allan Bateman, along with former Ospreys coach and current rugby pundit Sean Holley, proved perfect foils at Maesteg Harlequins R.F.C.
The successful Touch Rugby Tournament was followed by an equally successful evening with rugby heroes Allan Bateman and Sean Holley taking centre stage.
So convivial was the atmosphere, it seemed like a relaxed chat after a match, with Sean Holley expertly guiding affairs.
I am so grateful to both men, for giving their time to entertain an appreciative audience with their informative insights into Rugby Union, moving from the amateur into the professional era. Great stories and behind the scenes views from two rugby greats - made even more special as they are our home-grown talent.
