Many things are guaranteed in life, but not many of those events are pleasurable. One of those exceptionally enjoyable experiences is the Maesteg Cancer Research UKs Annual Christmas Carol Concert.

This thoroughly entertaining evening took place at St Michaels And All Angels Church Maesteg, last Friday evening.

A major reason for the captivating concert was the excellent programme of music by Noteworthy Mixed Choir. Fresh from their highly successful visit to Ten Bosch, Belgium; as always the beautifully blended voices were simply magnificent.

Superb solos from Sally-Ann Kingsbury, Nick Evans, Joseff Gray and Rhian Hughes, added to this charismatic Christmas treat.

All these top performances were in aid of the Maesteg Branch of Cancer Research UK and they did the event and the charity proud.

Congratulations to everyone for their hard work in putting on such a great evening of musical entertainment. Special mentions must be made to: Musical Director Ryan Wood, Accompanist Stewart Roberts, Charity Chair Tony Mullins and Secretary Lisa Howells. Great work for a great cause.

Llongyfarchiadau.
