Together with one of my consorts, Mr. Andrew Lloyd, I was absolutely delighted to attend the re-branding of a specialist Bridgend based fabrication company.
Vessco Engineering Ltd was founded by @Julian Vance-Daniel in 2006. A specialist pressure vessel manufacturer, it has an established and an extremely highly skilled workforce of 47. Exactly the sort of jobs our area and nation requires. Such work is certainly a motivational tool for our brightest and best, when they realise such well paid, highly skilled work is available on their doorstep.
Rebranded as LTi Vessco, the business underpins a commitment in the area providing a platform for future growth and employment. Hopefully expansion will be just around the corner.
I was completely staggered by the size and complexity of the vessels being manufactured for Siemens MRI scanners, to multistorey vessels for the nuclear industry. The entire experience was incredibly educational and certainly motivational.
It was a pleasure to meet and speak with the incredibly informed workforce. Managing Directors Edgar Rayner and Julian Vance-Daniel were perfect hosts.
